Product introduce: It belongs tolifting eye bolts. It is composed of ring-shaped lifting ears, connecting parts and bolts. It can rotate 360 degrees, which is convenient for lifting heavy objects at different angles. The material is mostly alloy steel, with high strength and good toughness. It is often used in lifting operations such as mold hoisting, mechanical installation, and port loading and unloading, which can improve the flexibility and convenience of hoisting. However, when using it, it is necessary to strictly follow safety regulations such as rated load and other safety norms.
Preparations Before Use
1.Selection and Inspection: Based on actual working requirements (such as lifting weight, angle, etc.), select appropriate models and specifications of lifting rings to ensure that their rated load is greater than the weight of the lifted object. Carefully inspect the lifting rings to check for any defects such as wear, cracks, or deformation. If there are any problems, do not use them.
2.Installation Position and Workpiece Handling: Select an appropriate position on the workpiece to drill threaded holes, so that the lifting ring bolts can be installed vertically on the workpiece plane. The threaded holes should be drilled deeply to prevent the lifting ring from twisting when it is turned. The surface of the workpiece should be smooth to ensure that the lifting ring gasket is in full contact with the workpiece surface. No additional padding should be added between the two.
Installation process
1.Connection and Fastening: Insert the ring into the threaded hole and ensure a tight fit with no gaps. If the connecting material is soft (such as aluminum), the effective connection length of the bolt should be no less than twice the diameter of the thread, or a long hole should be drilled in the material and the ring fixed on the back with a nut and washer. Tighten with the specified torque, and use tools such as a wrench to ensure the tightness.
2.Flexibility Check: After installation, check whether the ring can freely rotate at any angle. The connection part should rotate smoothly, and the side of the U-bolt should not touch other objects.
Lifting operation
1.Setup and Center of Gravity Adjustment: For single-ring lifting, the lifting ring should be placed at the center of gravity of the workpiece; for double-ring lifting, the lifting rings should be symmetrically arranged on both sides of the center of gravity of the workpiece; for three-ring or four-ring lifting, they should be arranged around the center of gravity of the workpiece and on the same plane.
2.Applying Load: During lifting, use lifting equipment to apply load at a uniform speed to avoid impact load and vibration load. During the lifting process, closely monitor the status of the lifting rings. If there are abnormal tilting or swinging conditions, immediately stop the operation and troubleshoot the problem.
Maintenance after use
1.Regular inspection: After use or at regular intervals (such as after each use, weekly or monthly, depending on the usage frequency), check the tightness of the ring bolts. If they are loose, tighten them to the recommended torque value. At the same time, check for overall wear and deformation of the ring, and make records.
2.Maintenance and storage: Keep the ring clean and avoid storing it in damp or corrosive environments. Store them separately, with soft riggings and steel riggings kept apart. Synthetic fiber riggings should be stored in a place far from heat sources, with good ventilation and dryness, and away from corrosive chemical substances to avoid direct sunlight.
